Distorted, staccato guitar riffs and low-pitched, ominous chords combine to give this track just the feel the description suggests: the PCs are somewhere outside of their “home” territory, either looking for trouble or in danger of finding it. The instrumentation yields a very modern feel, making the track unsuitable for fantasy or period games set prior to, say, the 1970s. You should be able to find a good use for the track to score modern, near-future, sci-fi, or post-apocalyptic games, whether police, military, horror, espionage, superhero, or what-have-you.
