Creating dungeons just got easier. With the Instant Dungeon Creator Map Pack, you can create unique dungeons over and over. This pack has 39 maps fully furnished containing 38 different rooms and 26 hallways. Each map conveniently connects to previous maps creating a seamless labyrinth of unending passages. Rooms and furnishings include alchemy lab, barracks, dining hall, kitchen, library, armory, barracks, torture chamber, jail cells, burial chambers and more.

Tokens from Dan DiPietro's art packs have been used to furnish rooms in this pack. Have your own tokens? Not a problem. Create new rooms as the Instant Dungeon Creator also includes 30 empty rooms and hallways which you can adorn in any way you choose.

Each map is 10x10 and can easily be turned or moved around. Need an example? Not a problem, see how it works in Roll20 on my YouTube Channel.

This art collection is set up for both virtual tabletop games. Tokens are downloaded as .png or .jpg files. This artwork is perfect for VTTs, such as Roll20, which I have personally tested in my own games and works perfectly for plug and play.

A few suggestions to the publisher...
(1) Place the image files into a zip folder for easier download. It's annoying to have to download dozens of individual JPEG files and takes FOREVER even though they are all relatively small files.
(2) The method for naming images is equally annoying. Image titles are 100+ characters long and the run-on names make it difficult to quickly identify the tiles I'm looking for. Example... Need I say more?
Thanks

Hi Andrew, thank you for your note. I have updated the files to be in a zip folder. As for the odd naming method, the reason they are long is that they are set up for your VTT search engine so they can be found quickly.

Within the 10x10 tile limit, and the artists’ thematic ambiance and textures, this set is a very nice assortment of room layouts and a fair set to purchase.

The floor tiles themselves are very nice, without the obvious repetitious 10x10 floor looking the same for each tile. While some individual tiles are duplicated within a 10x10 grid, each 10x10 grid has a different “randomized layout” feel of individual tiles.
Rating: 10 of 10

The walls have a different texture, the ambiance of the walls does not match the floors, being a little cartoony for my taste. The doors are all stone and do not stand out from the wall texture well. There is a good mixture of wall thicknesses, as the walls are not all 1” or ½”, and will vary within a tile.
Rating: Wall texture/doors 4/10, Layout of walls/doors 9/10 (don’t forget you can mirror the layout options)

The furnished rooms have a very cartoon feel for dungeon items. The Catacombs- Sarcophagi vault looks more...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
