The Ultimate d20 SuperHero Toolkit - for use with d20 Modern and D&D 3.5!

The d20 supplement that allows you to play superheroes in your favourite d20 game - modern or fantasy. Now revised with more super powers, more options, more POWER.

Rules for more superpowers than ever before, new prestige classes and templates and the most flexible way to create any type of superhero - this book is a toolkit to help you run the superhero game you want to run, in the system you like, and the setting you love.

Four-Color to Fantasy Revised contains different options for character advancement - from the traditonal fantasy-style rise from 1st-20th level to the more comic-book style approaches where powers change little but skill increases over time. Whether you want to play a low-powered vampire slayer or a veritable god, this book is designed to let you choose the genre and power level of your choice.

This superhero supplement for the d20 Fantasy and Modern rules sets concentrates on flexibility and modularity. Instead of giving you a new game, we have shown you how to turn your favorite d20 game into a superpowered campaign! A variety of options are presented in order to do this - you can use the Hero class alongside regular d20 or modern core classes, you can build and use templates or you can simply buy superpowers with experience points. The choice is yours! This isn't OUR superhero game - this is YOUR superhero game!

This package contains two versions of Four-Color to Fantasy Revised - one in landscape format with graphics and bookmarks for use on-screen, and one in portrait format without graphics, bookmarks or color for printing out. The landscape edition is 140 pages, with the print edition trimmed down to 100 pages.

Four Color to Fantasy was one of the first superheroic games to come out during the d20 boom and it showed a bit in its earlier edition. This, the Revised Edition, cleans up the system and presentation quite a bit, while expanding it further. Es [...]

Excellent book overall. Few things were missed in the revision, which is good. I had hoped the Damage Reduction rules in 4CtF would be updated to 3.5, but that's about all I have to say I'd change. Like I said, excellent book overall in m [...]

I was very impressed with Four Color to Fantasy's Modern Revised, especially the interior art work. I've seen the art work before in Power Corrupted and Power Corrupts. I'm looking forward to using this product in my superhero campaign and I hope it [...]

Very cool! I didn't really like the Hero class presented in the book but the super powers are really well done and blend in well with the d20 system. [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
