Do you have an estimated timeline when we might see a 2e version of TLC, and the others?

I'm primarily working on a Mythic GME 2e Deck and Mythic RPG 2e right now, both of which should be coming out over the next 12 months. I'm not 100% sure yet what I'll be doing with a TLC 2e. A lot of TLC elements are making their way in to Mythic RPG 2e, so there's a chance that Mythic RPG 2e will also basically have TLC 2e in it. What I might do after is publish a separate TLC 2e book with that content on its own.

I know it's a short book...but will there be a POD physical copy?

I would like to make one, but it's possible a second edition of it will appear first in which case that would get the POD treatment.

That was going to be a followup question based on your reply...fingers are crossed for that 2nd edition ;P

The 2nd edition of the GM emulator is amazing!...and I have the PDF (and physical on it's way - just came out today and I ordered a hardcover and softcover edition right away).

Thank you :)

With all the additional components for TLC in issues of Mythic Magazine, I would like some future book that puts it all in one tome and maybe updates it. It's possible some of that material will also appear in Mythic RPG 2e. I'm not 100% sure yet which direction this will all go, but one way or another TLC is destined for expansion.

Hi Robert. The rules for Progress Points are on page 7 in the first two paragraphs of Delving Deeper.

I’m not sure how I missed that but I appreciate your Swift response. I have much of the word Mill products in my collection. Mythic, Location Crafter, Creature Crafter, Adventure Crafter. I think the next it’s going to be the GM cards. I will say your writing gets a tad verbose at times but when you do get to the point it’s right on. Good work. Make some more stuff

I was going to ask about this same thing. Suddenly, the use of 'Progress Points' appears in the text with no prior explanation of what they are or what they do. So, I also have to have 'Delving Deeper'? I thought this was a standalone product. Which 'Delving Deeper' product are you talking about? Reference Rules?

Hi Harold. I'm sorry for the confusion. "Delving Deeper" is a section heading on page 7 of The Location Crafter that explains Progress Points and how they're used.

I used it already for my Forgotten Realms and Star Wars games & it worked equally great in both.

This looks cool but I'm going to wait to see some reviews and/or discussion on it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
